Week 4

 

• »  What marketing strategies does your company make use of?

• As a marketing company, we market ourselves in similar ways to our clients through social media, newsletters, and other forms of communication.

• »  Do you feel these are effective? How could they be made more effective?

• Currently, our marketing is in a weird state as we are rebranding everything so these tactics aren't particularly effective right now. We are planning on redoing the way we use social media as a branding tactic to include more of our client facing work, rather than just advertising the services we offer. Some of our companies colleagues said that our posts leaned to being too "sales-y" so we are working towards fixing that.

This week was lighter as we are in the process of finishing up a lot of projects that we started towards the start of the year, so I wasn't needed too much. I primarily focused on finial edits for a video project, as well as starting the process of transferring the content on our old website to the new one.

Highlights: Finishing projects that took a while feels satisfying even if the process wasn't always enjoyable
