Week 3 Post

» Who at your workplace do you particularly admire or look up to? What qualities does this individual exhibit that you appreciate or aspire to?

Carly is the senior graphic designer at Parklife and is someone I work closely with so as of now, she is who I look up to and look to for advice on design work and many other things. She's a super talented designer and has great ideas that make my work better overall. Carly manages a lot of different moving parts at once which is really difficult to do with all the clients, but she's still always willing to help and give advice whenever she can.

This week, I focused more on video editing and some voiceover work for a parking company called Parkhub. The video I did voice recording for will be shown off at a trade show along with a lot of the design work I did, which is very exciting since it will help the client get more business as a result. Otherwise, this week was light with only a couple other pieces for clients like Harmony NC LGBT Chamber of Commerce.

Highlights: Working with Harmony LGBT is always a highlight, they're wonderful!

Problems: miscommunication issues with clients

Issues: I almost completely lost a premier file that had many hours of work in it.
